June/July 2020 Kiln arrival
Now all I have to do is reclaim some clay and get making!
The kiln arrived at last. Unfortunately the poor driver who delivered it managed to take out most of the broadband connection for the village whilst reversing his 20 ton truck into our drive!
Once the kiln was in the garden, the task of getting it up the garden to the studio fell upon my long suffering husband and me, but we managed it together. Thankfully the Rhode kilns come apart into sections.
The next task was to get the electrician back to connect us to the mains.
In the meantime Open Reach came and reconnected the village to the internet.
